Escape the crowds at Cape Hedge Beach; this beach provides a peaceful retreat for those seeking respite from the summertime crowds in a beautiful New England setting. There is limited parking, but if you are able to find a spot, carpool, or walk, Cape Hedge Beach is a pristine spot where you can take in sweeping views of the Atlantic. Keep in mind that there are no facilities nor lifeguards on duty at this beach. You can also walk to the popular Long Beach from here, which makes an excellent afternoon out.

The picture above is at low tide. At high tide this beach would just be stones. I've never swam here but it looks rocky. Long beach next door is a better option although it's much busier. Even on perfect beach days I haven't seen many people here
