Once part of Rochester’s historic State Hospital grounds, Quarry Hill Park nowadays is a great recreational area in Rochester. With more than 8 miles of trails, the area is suitable for people of all ages, but especially kids will love it and one of the reasons for that, is the included nature center where they can learn everything about the local flora and fauna. The trails in the park are separated in different areas and include the following: Savanna Trails, Woodland Trails, Pond/Prairie Trails, Stream Trails, Quarry Ruin Trails, Sports Trails and Family Trails.
