Puʻu Ahumoa or Chicken Hill, which is the translation, is probably about 200,000 years old and located close to Mauna Kea. From the 6,500 feet high rim of the cider cone, you can enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding landscape including Mauna Loa and Mauna Kea.
