It enables the study of forest communities, soils, vegetation, fauna, and forest structure, as well as their dynamics, and serves as a demonstrative area for silviculture, near-natural forest management, and forestry education. Furthermore, genetic resources are secured, biodiversity is preserved, and the self-developing communities are permanently protected.
