Lower Cataract Lake is a gorgeous, natural body of water located in the Eagle’s Nest Wilderness section of the White River National Forest. In the winter, the area opens up to cross country skiing. In the spring/summer, the area is popular for its birding, fishing, camping, and picnic areas. There are spots to lock up your bike and explore any one of the short trails surrounding the lake.
