The Lang Grachtje and the Klein Grachtje are two streets and ramparts in the center of the Dutch city of Maastricht, which are very similar in terms of location, history and appearance. The city wall on the south side of both streets was once part of Maastricht's first medieval city wall. Wikipedia

Hiking

There are some places where the city wall is still well preserved. Here is a place with the city wall over a hundred meters long.

Hiking

Lang Grachtje and Klein Grachtje (Maastricht: Laank and Klein Gresje) are two streets and ramparts in the center of the Dutch city of Maastricht that are very similar in location, history and appearance. The city wall on the south side of both streets was once part of the first medieval city wall in Maastricht. The wall dates from the 13th century and has been restored several times over the centuries. The two streets in Jekerkwartier have seven national monuments, all of which are part of the city wall.
