Hiking

The FFH area extends over approximately 970 hectares and consists of more than 50 percent beech and other deciduous forests and approximately 20 percent grassland that is used for agriculture. Seven protected habitat types can be distinguished. The “Feldatal” sub-area is 454 hectares in size and is predominantly designated as a “Feldatal” nature reserve. The Felda stream with its banks of trees and wet meadows as well as the adjacent forests characterize its landscape.
