Whitby Beach is the British seaside at its best. With clear water and clean golden sands, it has a peaceful, yet playful atmosphere and is the perfect place to relax on a summer’s day. As you stroll along the shoreline, with the sound of the waves crashing, it’s a happy place to be. With bracing water, the sea will certainly refresh you in warm weather. However, all year round, there are plenty of keen swimmers, especially on New Year's Day, when taking a dip has become a tradition.
