Hiking
Very nice and lively little market hall with everything the Mediterranean heart desires. The air is full of all sorts of spices and fresh fruits and vegetables. Various small stalls with regional goods, ranging from wood carvings to handmade jewelery.
A truly great place to visit!

Hiking
In every major city there is a so-called market hall, an agora.
This on Kos is quite modest.
In Crete bze. Rhodes is much larger with countless stalls selling local products, from freshly caught fish to handicrafts (no cheap tourist goods).
You can also eat typically Greek at individual stands, but no tourist dishes.
