Tamarack Beach spans the length from the warm water jetties to south of Tamarack Avenue al the way to Frazee Beach near Carlsbad Village Drive. Tamarack beach is great kids and families. Activities you can do on this beach include swimming, surfing, kayaking, windsurfing, fishing and scuba diving.

Tamarack Beach is a scenic stretch of coastline that runs from the warm water jetties just south of Tamarack Avenue to Frazee Beach. It is a great spot for families and children, as it offers a variety of activities such as swimming, surfing, scuba diving, kayaking, windsurfing, fishing, and beachcombing. The beach is separated from Coast Highway 101, with a four-mile path popular for runners, walkers, and cyclists. There are two picnic tables on the walkway and restrooms near the parking area with showers and water fountains.
