When planning your visit, be aware that the trail is considered moderate to difficult due to its steep hills and uneven surfaces. You should be prepared for potentially wet conditions, especially after rains, as the ground can be soft and you will cross several watery areas. Access to the trail is convenient from either the Pine Hollow parking lot or near Kendall Lake, offering flexibility for your starting point.
