Queen. At that time, the officially used and recognized name of the future crown princess was “Prinze Wilhelm”. After losing the First World War, she followed in 1918
abdicated emperor and king went into exile in Holland. The Empress, revered in Germany as a true mother of the country, found her final resting place not far from Sanssouci Palace.
