Hiking

I've leapt across some streams / stepping stones before, but not these ones :). The stepping stones here are covered in algae and a bit damp, with the 2 central stones just too far apart to leap confidently (because of risk of slipping). Water was about 12 inches deep (April 2024), so I elected to remove trail running shoes, roll trouser legs up and go barefoot. A bit of a faff, but better than chancing going head over heels and taking a full on swim. Trekking poles may be useful when trying to navigate this crossing.
