The church was built in 1789 in a wooden frame structure with brick filling. There is a wooden tower on the west side. In the 1960s, the entire southern side wall and a fragment of the eastern gable wall were rebuilt, which destroyed the historic character of the building. Today the church looks strange, different from every side, as if they were different churches.
