Hiking
The valley channel between Plötscher See and Schwarze Kuhle was drained by a ditch until the beginning of the 21st century. It was reforested with non-native spruce trees. In 2001, the channel was renaturalized. The ditch was closed, restoring wet conditions to the channel.
In the following years, an alder-willow swamp forest developed here.
