Between Müden / Aller and the Bokelberge district, turn off the "Aller-Radweg" in a small forest area and after about 500 meters you will reach the Allerauen north of the Gerstenbüttel district.
A restoration project was launched here in 2017 and is now complete.
The Aller had been straightened decades ago, but now it has created a large tributary and still waters. This is hoping for rare flora and fauna to spread again.
On a hill, a bench invites you to rest and observe nature.
