Running
The heritage of Bas-Oha includes the Saint-Lambert church and several historic castles, such as the Château Rouge, dating from the 17th century and initially a fortified tower, and the Château à l'Horloge from the 18th century. The village is crossed by railway line 125 linking Namur to Liège.

The written history of the village dates back to 1157. It was then part of the county of Moha.
Bas-Oha has several castles: the Château Rouge (17th century), the Château Blanc (18th century) and the Château à l'Horloge (18th century), which is currently the town hall/service center/library.
In the 19th century, the economy was based on coal, iron, foundries and quarries.
