A somewhat hidden restaurant in the marina. A lovely place to sit and enjoy good food. Closed in winter (January).
You won't find a better view of the marina.
As of April 2021: Takeaway food is available starting Wednesday.
As of August 2023: New tenant, Moroccan specialties on Fridays. More information here: schiff-karlsruhe.de/index.html
Update 2026: The restaurant on the ship "Das Schiff" is now under new management. Mediterranean cuisine.

The Karlsruhe marina was used as the Maxau port to supply the city of Karlsruhe from 1862 onwards. However, since the opening of the Karlsruhe Rhine port in 1901, it has declined in importance.

Today, the harbor is operated as a marina by the MBC Karlsruhe.
