Hiking
It's best to start above the harbor. There are stairs leading to the promenade. The entire trail follows the coastline. There are some benches along the way. After a gravel road you cross the small Barranco del Quiquere. The trail ends at the harbor of Puerto Calero. It is about 3.5 km, you should plan about 1 hour for the route.

On the promenade of Puerto del Carmen you can stroll wonderfully, you can look far out to the sea, partly you can walk along the beach through the wonderful sand. The beach stretches to the airport in Arrecife.
