From here you can undertake or end some tours: Grünberggipfel, Laudachsee, Kaltenbachwildnis, the Alpine Steig am See - Miesweg or the very demanding tour on the Traunstein. And not far from here in a southerly direction you can even get to the banks of the Traunsee.
