Three-aisled hall church built in the 15th century, after the conversion of a 12th-century church in the core. In 1566, the building was destroyed by iconoclasts. About half a century later, it was restored.
The church was also seriously damaged in both world wars and in 1954 it was ravaged by a fire.
During the restoration in 1981-1983, the neo-Gothic additions were removed and excavations were carried out.
