Hiking
In a beech tree at the edge of the forest hangs a green-painted concrete crucifix in a cement chapel. The inscription in the ridge: "Ch. Hoste - 1861-1961 INRI" refers to the renovation of the original cross from 1861, carried out by concrete caster Charles-Louis Hoste who lived nearby.
The cross used to be called "Simoens' kruislievenheere".
