“The Cycling Queen” is the artwork on the roundabout in Meeuwen at Kasteel Meeuwen (N283). The artwork is a tribute to cyclist Marianne Vos (1987) after she became Olympic champion in road cycling in London on 29 July 2012 among the ‘women’. A gold medal as a reward for the exceptional series of achievements that Marianne Vos has achieved in her ‘cycling life’. The artwork as a cycling monument.
