Hydropower does the trick
Until about 45 years ago, the Ansa Mill milled corn, rye, and wheat for local farmers in both summer and winter, and also operated a small sawmill. With the help of hydropower, a stately waterwheel, and simple yet sophisticated technology, a hundredweight of grain could be processed in three hours of hard work. Today, modern machines can process the same amount of grain in less than five minutes.
