The route also provides picturesque backdrops of the Great Salt Lake, Antelope Island, and the Wasatch Mountains, making it a visually rewarding 16.2-mile (26.1 km) journey.
This easy 1 hour and 27 minute ride, with only 79 feet (24 metres) of elevation gain, is ideal for beginners, families, or anyone seeking a relaxed outing. Access the trail conveniently from Center St. While some amenities are available, it's always a good idea to bring your own water and snacks. Consider visiting during migratory seasons for prime bird-watching, or in the evening to catch a stunning sunset over the Great Salt Lake.
