The Riverside Bike Trail in Yellowstone National Park offers a 1.4-mile (2.2 km) ride from the park's West Entrance to Barns Road, providing access to a pretty section of the Madison River. This relatively flat trail travels on dirt and gravel; the surface is an old paved road that is starting to disintegrate. Like everywhere in Yellowstone, you should remain vigilant for black and grizzly bears in the area.
