Nordic walking

During the winter months, the Schöhsee is of regional importance for some water bird species, in particular for up to 2000 mallard ducks. The lake is also part of the hunting grounds of sea eagles and a breeding ground for oystercatchers, great crested grebes, kingfishers, goldeneyes and many other water bird species.

Nordic walking

A short circuit around the Schöhsee, where the highlights include the beautiful views of the Schöhsee, an old beech forest, meadows and fields framed by hedges. If you want to cool off, a detour to the bathing area at the Schöhsee is recommended. In the village, the path leads past a fishing snack bar and a marina at the Plöner See. The circular route can be extended as desired with the Plöner See circular route. Perfect for a little active change on a Sunday.
