My mother and my aunt, Irma and Giovanna Ponti, were teachers in Melle and Boschirolo in the 1930s. I'll come to visit the town, especially Boschirolo. My aunt used to tell me stories of winter evenings spent with the locals, especially about a lady named Marieta, with pleasure and nostalgia. See you soon.

I was in Boschirolo today. I reached the site easily. I tried to reach the church and the school, but it wasn't possible. The paths between the abandoned houses were impassable. It's a shame. Unfortunately, given my age, I'll hardly be able to return.
