These remnants of a wall, standing so deep in the forest, exude a peculiar fascination, especially since the age, builder, and purpose of the structure remain unclear to this day. More detailed information can be found on the following website:

But here, too, the conclusion is: many attempts at explanation, little real knowledge. Yet that's precisely what makes it so intriguing. For me, it was an interesting conclusion to our visit to Mont Sainte-Odile.
