Hiking
The Staatenbolwerk Kruithuis from 1836 is part of the fortifications of Geertruidenberg. The building can best be compared to a large above-ground cellar. Gunpowder was stored in the warehouse. Residents of Geertruidenberg also call the building the gunpowder magazine. During the Second World War, the building was a public shelter for the residents of the Elisabethstraat.
