Donnan Park was donated by the Donnan estate, and is now a public park. There are baseball pitches, an ice rink, a curling club and open lawns to play on. There is also a parking area near the Curling Club, creating easy access to the Mill Creek Ravine hiking trails.

Belfast-born John Donnan (1870-1933) came to Strathcona in 1901, establishing a lumber yard and dairy and serving as alderman for the area. The 5.34-ha. Donnan Park is in the King Edward Park neighbourhood on the east side of Mill Creek. The land was part of the Donnan estate and was given to the city for use as a park.
