Hiking

At the end of the 16th century, Bogislaw XIII (1544–1606), Duke of Pomerania, led the town of Barth into a "Golden Age." Among other things, he replanned the town, opened it up to its neighbors, and emphasized trade and, above all, education. The printing press of choice at the time. Barth became famous for its princely printing works. An equally famous masterpiece of this period is the Barth Bible, published in 1588.
