The parish church of St. Sigismund in Strobl is a magnificent example of late Baroque architecture and a significant cultural monument in the region. Cyclists traveling around Lake Wolfgangsee can easily reach the church and pause during their tour to admire the artfully preserved interior, the high altar, and the side altars. Consecrated on May 3, 1761, the church impresses with its original furnishings, the historic organ, and its picturesque location in the town center. It offers visitors not only a cultural highlight but also an opportunity to experience the history and religious art of Salzburger Land up close.

In the middle of Strobl stands the beautiful Pfarrkirche Strobl, dedicated to Saint Sigismund. The church was built between 1758 and 1761 and consecrated on May 3, 1761. It is a beautiful example of late Baroque, and the interior is particularly special: a large part of the original Baroque furnishings has been preserved.

With its characteristic tower and central location, the church truly belongs to the village scenery of Strobl. Definitely worth a visit during a walk through the village: the richly decorated high altar and side altars make the small detour more than worthwhile.
