The only Zoiglstube in the festival town. The rustic restaurant serves Zoigl from Windischeschenbach in the Upper Palatinate. Delicious snacks and various warm dishes are also available.

The Zoigl is a bottom-fermented beer, brewed according to a traditional method. In the open brew kettle over a wood fire, the mash – a mixture of water and barley malt – is first cooked, then hopped and heated again as "wort". This wort is now transferred into large containers in the cellar, where the yeast does its work. After about 10 days of fermentation, the Zoigl beer is filled into barrels, where it must mature for several more weeks.
