'The Paps East is the eastern summit of the Paps of Anu, County Kerry. There trail between the Paps isn't marked, so the hike is for experienced walkers only.

The Paps East (694 m) is a wonderful hills with fabulous and commanding views over the entire area in basically every direction. There is, of course, the great view of The Paps West to - you guessed it - your west, which is where you are going next! - unless you've just been.
