Górka Zgody, also known as “Przeprosna”, where the church was built, is a place associated with a historical event that took place on July 31, 1666. On this day, the so-called Łęgonice Agreement was concluded, ending the rebellion of Marshal Lubomirski. On the fields near Łęgonice, troops under the command of King John Casimir and Crown Marshal Jerzy Lubomirski faced each other. However, the battle did not take place, as both sides reached an agreement. In memory of this event, a small wooden church of St. Roch was built.
