Descending along the path on the ridge, there are interesting views of the Los Cahorros de Monachil gorge near Cueva de las Palomas, and in some places into the Rio Monachil gorge, as well as of the surrounding rocky landscape. The gorge is so narrow and overgrown that the river is not visible.
