At the Recknitz (72 river kilometers) there are some rental stations for canoes. The once straightened Recknitz was partially returned to their old bed and the meandering river course (at Recknitzberg) restored. From Ticino one could drive the Recknitz, once border river between Mecklenburg and Vorpommern, up to the mouth in the Bodden with Ribnitz Damgarten. Here you can visit the Wasserwanderrastplätze Bad Sülze, Marlow, Pantlitz or Daskow.
