Truskmore Summit is the highest point in County Sligo. It sits on the Dartry Mountains and is well known for its telecommunications mast, which is visible from a wide area. On clear days, the summit offers extensive views across the northwest, including parts of Sligo, Leitrim, and even into neighbouring counties.

Truskmore is topped by several radio masts, making it an obvious and prominent landmark for miles around. The summit station is at 647 m (2,123 ft), slightly higher than the nearby south-east summit at 631 m (2,070 ft). There is an access road to the top so navigation and walking is easy. Continuing along the ridge north-east to Tievebaun is more remote and pathless.
