Gravel riding
Abetone is the main ski resort in Tuscany and one of the most important mountain locations in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines. Located at an altitude of 1,388 meters in the province of Pistoia, it is now part of the scattered municipality of Abetone Cutigliano and is surrounded by a historic and imposing coniferous forest. Its name derives from the felling of a monumental fir tree that took place in the 18th century during the construction of the Via Modenese.
