The Sidecum is a 608 meter high mountain. From here you have very beautiful panoramic views of the surrounding area. There has been a shelter here for a long time. The 2011 renewed hut was renamed "Waldschrat-Hütte" and in the hut is the stamping point 114 of the Harzer hiking nobility.
