Only part of the mighty outer wall of the Roimund/Roynungen castle ruins remains, but the complex with its imposing moat is clearly visible (abandoned since 1460).

Cycling
Castle ruins are almost my favorite destinations. The complex is still very recognizable. The mighty moat is now filled with leaves. You walk as if through deep snow. The paths to the ruin are all very steep and mostly not well suited for trekking bikes.
