The Cobequid Trail is an 18 to 20 kilometrre (11 to 12.4 mi) multi-use route. It's mostly flat with a mix of terrain from crushed gravel to paved surfaces.
It passes through farmland, Acadian dykelands, forest alongside the tidal Salmon River, which has a twice-daily tidal bore.
