    As already described in other highlights for this ascent, this is a wide and well-maintained road, largely without shade. It is well-suited as an ascent, but is also a lot of fun as a descent, as the road is clearly visible. There is little traffic, but this ascent is probably more popular with cars than the small, wooded road from Assizzi.
