The village church Parum is a gothic brick church with field stone base, whose nave was built around 1450. Extensions experienced the building in the district Parum around 1770 with the wooden tower and around 1870 with a new choir and the transept in the style of Neo-Gothic. Also neogotic is the interior.

The first church that stood in Parum was probably a wooden church built between 1170 and 1180. The church was first mentioned in documents in 1194.
In the Parum church there is an organ by Johann Heinrich Runge from 1877. This was restored in 2005.
