This is a really great restaurant with a super nice landlord! 👍🔝
On our hike, the restaurant was actually closed. (opened about 3-4 hours later)

Since the door of the restaurant was open, we asked for a coffee.
He made a pot of coffee especially for us and we set up a table and chairs with him in front of the restaurant when the weather was wonderful. (see pictures)
We brought our cake ourselves (Jesus Baker in Görlitz 👍), asked the host if that was okay with him. He agreed.
Of course we gave a good tip or "consumption money" for the things we had brought with us.

The manor probably originated in the 15th century and came into the possession of the Frenzel family in 1505. They were followed by Paul von Liedlau, who married into the Frenzel family. Joachim von Schachmann took over the manor in 1640, having also married into the Frenzel family. The manor remained in his family's possession until 1772. In 1740 it came into the possession of Joachim Philipp von Gustedt and his wife Johanna Eleonore, née von Schachmann. The family coat of arms may have been attached to the New Castle at this time. From 1773 onwards, the owners changed frequently, including the Lord of Broizem and the Lord of Nothom. In 1878 the von Stockhausen family bought the manor and the castles.
