This tour will be added to my favorite tours! Great views and beautiful places invite you to enjoy and linger. You can stop off at the Schlosshotel Falkenstein and at the Salober Alm. As long stretches run through the forest, this is also highly recommended in summer. The tour is also great in the opposite direction.

Mountain hiking opening in the Allgäu Alps 😃 the fresh snow has given the normally easy tour a bit of a claim. A wonderful, sunny opening of the mountain hiking year 2023.

We start at the Breitenbergbahn car park and first walk southeast along the railway tracks, crossing them after a few meters. Then follow the signs to Brug Falkenstein. We stop at the Mariengrotte for a photo opportunity and of course to pray. Shortly after that we reach the castle. Then we follow the path to Einerkopf, Zwölferkopf and Salober. Continue …

Along the way, you pass the statue of the Virgin Mary, which stands peacefully by the path and invites you to take a short rest. The trail …

A beautiful moderately difficult tour to and from Falkenstein Castle.

Very nice path with great vantage points. Recommended on hot days, as you walk a lot in the forest.
