Enns is the oldest city in Austria. The adventure trail leads you through 2000 years of Roman history! The first third is not necessarily recommended, but only leads through settlements from the 1970s.

The city describes itself as the oldest city in Austria, but this is disputed. The city charter from 1212 is definitely the oldest document that has been preserved in its original form and can be viewed in the Ennser Museum. Enns is the successor city of Lauriacum, which was elevated to the status of a city in 212.
