Just like its perhaps more famous little sisters, the "Logis" and "Floréal" in Watermael-Boitsfort, the Terdelt estate, the one and only garden city in Schaerbeek, was built at the beginning of the 20th century. Their purpose was to respond to the housing crisis resulting from the First World War.

A veritable green lung in the heart of the municipality of Schaerbeek, the park is part of a vast urban planning project at the end of the 19th century.
