A lovely 6.5 mile wander around the footpaths of this RSPB controlled marshland. Lots of wildfowl seen as well as a Marsh Harrier in the distance. Definitely worth a visit if you like wetland wilderness...
I've written about it more on my blog.

A really great walk, grass was waist high at points and was tough walking through it, also clouds of mosquitos but thats just the time of year. Beautiful views over to west mersea, tollsbury and Bradwell, achy legs but well worth it
